The Haley Memorial Gets a Spring Cleaning
The Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Foundation works with the City of Annapolis to make sure the Alex Haley Memorial is cleaned regularly. Some components, such as the Compass Rose are targeted for cleaning twice a year, since this art work is on the ground and greatly impacted by foot traffic. The other components are generally cleaned once yearly, or if specific corrective maintenance is needed.
